Our marina is located at Newmark’s Yacht Centre in Wilmington, California, in an area related to shipping. It’s extremely “rustic” and, while not the best marina in the area, it has some of the nicest people.

Turning 180 degrees around from facing our boat brings us to the day breaking in the East.
Off in the distance is a car carrier, as big as a hotel, unloading cars at one of the docks. Sometimes, we hear the horn of a ship and the whistle of a train in the same vicinity, reminding us that where we live on our boat is a big shipping harbor.
This is the rustic walkway we come down when we are heading to our boat.
